Even though I am British, I LOVE the American National Anthem. There is something so soulful and engaging about it, I always feel queesy when I hear it. So beautiful and inspiring, it never ceases to move me. Ever since I have been listening to the various versions on YouTube, there seems to be a battle royal about who has sung the Anthem in the best way, and everyone seems to have their favourites.
It seems the top 5 are: Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood and the Cactus Cuties, because they have had the most views and positive comments. But which ONE rises head and shoulders above them all?
Here for your judgement are the 5 videos in question. Which one really does it for you? Or do you have another favourite to add to the group?
Enjoy.
