From the way she dresses, the American First Lady has certainly stamped her presence as an icon of style. She looked stunning in her ball gown and professional in her Inauguration outfit. But how did they grab you? Were you impressed?
I liked both outfits, but the one thing that still needs some attention is her colours on such an occasion. The colour of her first outfit should have been much brighter so that she stands out clearly.
Imagine the disappointment of all those people, firstly having to pick her out of the crowd because of her dark coloured outfit, then struggle to get that memorable picture. The colour she chose was not an appropriate one for the occasion, far too dark, dowdy and stern. At least in 2008, you could easily see her.
However, the red ball gown was in a class of its own. Simply stunning, and just hung on to her like a glove. I loved it!
But what do you think of it?
