The gunman who allegedly killed 12 people during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado lost touch with reality after becoming 'obsessed' with video games, according to a former classmate.
The news came after it was revealed that James Holmes may have been pushed over the edge by the end of a relationship.
A former classmate from the University of Colorado told the Daily Mail: ‘James was obsessed with computer games and was always playing role-playing games.
