Newt Gingrich is angry, and this time his misguided rage isn’t being directed at Tiffany cashiers, gays, muslims, lazy poor children, child labor laws, and the middle class. Rather, the ornery erstwhile Republican presidential frontrunner has likened his complete and utter ignorance of the democratic process to that little watershed event in American military history that’s better known as Pearl Harbor.
