Yesterday, on the Laura Ingraham show, New York Rep. Peter King made an effort to delegitimize the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement that has been sweeping across the country. First, he called the protesters a bunch of “anarchists” and a “ragtag mob.” Then he warned Americans not to give the movement any legitimacy because the protests remind him of the liberal protests of the 1960s.

“The fact is these people are anarchists. They have no idea what they’re doing out there. They have no sense of purpose other than a basically anti-American tone and anti-capitalist. It’s a ragtag mob basically.
