You go ahead and drink those 8-10 cups of water and in no time you'll lose the taste of it.

Heh, I drink several gallons of water a day so I can safely say this doesn't apply to me. Although, I do have to urinate a lot...

I went cold turkey on soda for 6 months. I then tried a soda one day just for the hell of it, and the difference in my body for the next few hours was very noticeable. I was drained of energy slightly after 2 hours, had orange urine, and just felt like sitting down more than usual.

It could also all be in my head, except the urine color.

GO WATER!

It's unbelievable that so many of us aren't getting enough water each day. There are so many health benefits from keeping cholesterol low to reducing the risk of developing some cancers.

I have Sjogren's Syndrome, which is an autoimmune disease that destroys the body's moisture-producing glands (mostly the salivary glands and tear ducts), so I'm in a pretty much constant state of dehydration. But because having a dry mouth drives me nuts, I can drink 3-5 gallons of water a day, easy. People at my past jobs called me "Water Bottle Girl" because of the water bottle that's practically fused to my hand and joked about how I needed a water cooler at my desk. XD I'm actually really surprised that I've never gotten water intoxication.

But my vice is (caffeine-free) Diet Pepsi. Love, love, love it. I know how horrible it is for me and have tried numerous times to give it up, but I never last more than a week. They must put crack in it. But I figure that I drink more than enough water to compensate for it. XD
