Watching President Obama giving his very powerful, authoritative speech at the United Nations was a strong reminder of how suitable this man is to the White House. Yet he has had a hard time since taking office, especially from the defeated Republicans who have thrown everything at him, barring the kitchen sink, in their bid to prise him from the White House.
In their eyes, no matter how good he is, he does not seem entitled to his elected term, let alone two. In fact, weekly, even on Newsvine, one can read articles proclaiming how his administration will be 'imploding' very shortly, "within two months" one author wrote recently, wishing him away at every turn, and said with such certainty, one wonders which crystal ball they are using!
However, wishful thinking won't change anything about President Obama's elected term. That is a given, just like any other president was entitled to. The real question now is whether he will be elected for a second term. What do you honestly think? Will he ride all the storms to win over some of his critics or will he be a one-term president?
Over to you.
Please note: If you comment, please give clear simple reasons (up to 5) why you believe he will, or he won't be, re-elected. Any immature, infantile vitriol which adds no substance to the debate will be immediately deleted. Thanks.
