I am from an idyllic rural area but it is not far from the main British capital, London, so I tend to get the best of both worlds. I enjoy a great transport service, with trains leaving every 15 minutes from the local station which take between 25 and 45 minutes to reach London. I also live between two parallel motorways which have attracted lots of commuters to our area. However it has remained unspoilt by this influx of people.
Where I live in Berkshire it is very leafy, with lots of trees and the beautiful River Thames running nearby, ideal for walking and relaxing on a nice day. I feel blessed each day by my surroundings as I can enjoy the rural benefits, the quiet and tranquility a writer needs, while taking a short train ride to the hustle and bustle of the city. I really do love the mix in lifestyle and would like to live here forever just to enjoy its natural beauty.
