We all tend to take the place where we live for granted. Often we are likely to complain about the services, or lack of them, the things we can't have, or things that annoy us. But the really heartening aspects tend to escape our notice until we lose them, or are forced to acknowledge them.
So what is really great about your little town or village? What has made a difference to you and/or your family. What would you really miss if you left there?
This is your time to sing its praises with up to three things you value.
I live in Maidenhead in England, in the Royal Borough of Berkshire, a stone's throw from Windsor Castle, on the banks of the River Thames. A lovely little place with lots of greenery that has grown on me. The town centre is cute, the council is very caring and the atmosphere is quiet and genteel, suiting my personality and work beautifully. I would really miss it if I left it.
Your turn now! :o)
